What we need from you...

By giving us a little bit of information about what you need, we can help you find and purchase the software that is right for your business. Aside from basic contact information, we ask for the following in the Special Order Request Form:

1 - the name of the software application
2 - the name of the company that makes the software application, if known or
3 - the general type of software that you are looking for (for example: accounting, human resources, hardware store management)
4 - the 3 to 5 most important features that this software needs to have in order to be able to do what you need and
5 - how quickly you need to purchase this software
6 - the operating system that you need the software to run on
7 - how many user licenses you need
8 - your budget for this software purchase
9 - any additional comments that you think would be helpful

What you get back...

Once we have received your completed Special Order Request Form and found the appropriate software product(s), we will contact you with the results. Depending on the nature of your request, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your request to be processed. We will do our best to get back to you quickly. Your results will include:

1 - the product name(s) - if we found software for you based on the features that your business needs, we will usually find between 4 and 8 products.
2 - the product publisher name(s)
3 - a description of each product
4 - product system requirements
5 - current pricing information
6 - information about purchasing the software from SoftSearch

A few helpful hints for filling out a Special Order Request Form:

• if you are not sure how to describe the general type of software that you are looking for, check out our list of software categories for ideas
• write down the things that you need the software to be able to do, and then decide which are the most important features that you need and which ones are less crucial
• when you are narrowing it down to the 3 to 5 features that you would like us to search for, be sure to include anything that is absolutely necessary for the software to be able to do
• if one of the features on your list is something that is unusual, or peculiar to your business, be sure to let us know
• use the comments area to tell us what industry you are in - some products have been designed specifically to meet the needs of businesses in a particular industry
